Decided to try Black Bear over ihop for breakfast and it's a night and day difference in portions and food quality. Chicken fried steak was hearty and delicious.

Fantastic customer service and food! Our waiter, Jeremy, was super attentive and very kind. Really appreciate they put in our kid's order first so his food came out hot and quick. Ours shortly came out right afterwards. Shortest wait for our breakfast. Being from out of town, the manager was also very welcoming and helpful. Wish I got her name, but she is doing a fantastic job at running this restaurant. When we are back in town, this location will definitely be a stop we will make sure to come back to.

My daughter and I come here often for breakfast, and it's always a highlight of our day. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the portion sizes are generous, and the service is consistently top-notch. A special shoutout to our favorite server, Breelon--he goes above and beyond every single time we visit. 10/10 experience, every time!

It is good for what it is. We like the pancakes and waffles. Coffee is acceptable. Service is kind. It's a chain, so it will have the features of a chain. Do not go in expecting a specialty breakfast joint or a mom-and-pop dining feel and you will not be disappointed. It's not endless pancakes with giant lumps of jelly, so you won't get diabetes when you walk in the door, nor is it grossly soggy... unlike their closest competitors. I came here back in April 2024, which a friend for breakfast. The food was decent not bad at all. Very family friendly. Service was great!
We normally eat breakfast here but mom wanted the all you can eat fish. They advertised it on their menu. We got there and the place was crowded with a bus full of kids in front of us. We were seated and immediately placed our order for 3 AYCE fish plates and one breakfast plate. The waitress was new but she said you get two sides.
