First time visiting Black Bear Diner and we were absolutely glad we made that decision. I don't use the word "beautiful" very frequently but this cafe is full of beautiful charm, decor, food and above all, their team is made up of beautiful people. 10.1.23 Super late lunch again. Hubby and I were in the Cypress area finishing up some chores and stopped at BBD for a quick meal before heading home. We both ordered breakfast food. I was going to redeem my birthday meal but when I went to pay it was expired. Bummer! I ordered a French toast meal with bacon and eggs. Everything was very tasty. I would order it again. Solid 4.5! Portions are huge, food was yummy, service was super fast and the prices were great too! Atmosphere was casual but it's exactly what I expected. Will definitely come back for another meal.

I was really really craving a southern meal ... and what will be more southern than a chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy, eggs, and hashbrowns? I was a bit nauseous as Im in my first trimester, and the server was so sweet and prompt. She put in my order right away, and I had my food asap. The food definitely HIT THE SPOT. They also had 3 fun in-house type of hot sauces, which this pregnant momma was loving! Once again you guys have outdone yourselves. The food was fantastic as per usual. We are a Doctor's office here in Cypress. I would say this is one of our go to spots at least once a month to every other month. We always have a pretty big order nothing is ever missing. Everyone loves the food. Never any complaints. Thanks to your Cypress Restaurant team. We love the thoughtful and funny notes you add to each meal. We will continue to be loyal customers. Thank you so much till we eat again......

The food is still great here! I was in the mood for breakfast and they satisfied the craving . Rachel was excellent! She was very attentive, nice, and was always taking care of us. My mother in law lives down the street and wants to come back again and again.
