In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. First time to visit the Black Bear Diner in Fayetteville, AR today. Went for breakfast, and the food was excellent. Also excellent was our waiter, Malcolm! He did everything right, a trait that’s rare among waiters today. If you go, ask to be in Malcolm’s section.
