We stopped in here on Veteran's day to grab a bite to eat. My friend and I are both retired from the Navy. The waitress asked if we were veterans and we both said yes. She said "thank you for your service". At the end of the meal she came back and said "Your breakfast is on Black Bear today". What a great surprise. Thank you black bear for your support of veterans!!

I was surprised at the menu options and the size of the portions. I will certainly be patronizing local restaurants in the San Francisco Bay area. In fact a new Black Bear Diner is just opening in San Rafael, Ca.

Delicious and the Casino wasn’t too bad either !!
My son treated me for breakfast and the portions were huge and the food was delicious. I especially loved their hash browns as every single one of them was very crispy.
