The manager is friendly all his employees in a fantastic team
Black Bear has the best pancakes bar none! I have never been to a bad Black Bear, but the Merced Black Bear is especially great.
Ashley did great serving our table and made sure everything came out correct . Will be back again !

the wife and I both had the Asian Chicken Salad. It was coleslaw,T he cabbage was cut to fine. The chicken was over cooked. The service was very good but the food 2.5 of 5. Not like we are used to. Very little chicken not like normal. Neither of us enjoyed it like we have in the past. $45.85 plus tip $7. total 52.85 check out at 12:45 PM. table 28/1 3/30046 on 2 22 2019
On 8/9/18 and 8/15/18 We went to your diner in Merced. Our Server, Stephanie, was terrific. She our coffee filled made sure our order was correct Apologized for the diner being cold, as my wife was in a sweater. We come here three to four times a week.
