Amazing down home country diner that aims to please. From the waiter to the food delivery everything was great and then we dug in to an amazing and hearty breakfast. Take a big appetite with you as the food is very tasty and plentiful. We will be going back! Amazingly huge and tasty biscuits!!!

Absolutely amazing! Great service, great food, excellent value, and very welcoming atmosphere. We were in New Braunfels for the weekend and went twice because it was so good. If we're in the neighborhood again, we will definitely return.

Breakfast jackpot! Food was AMAZING, if you haven't tried this place for breakfast, what are you waiting for!? The plates are huge and filled. Prices are unmatched with most breakfast places for the size of some items. Service was top notch and the ambiance took me back to the country, outdoors like and retro experience. I will definitely recommend and I will be taking the rest of my family.

Great, great food and great service at this recently opened location. This is the first one I've seen in San Antonio but I've been to Black Bear Diner before in central California. The food is always great and fresh. The servings are really generous. I'm assuming the menus are the same at all franchises, so I enjoy the avocado bacon Benedict. This is actually not a pet friendly place. It is at a truck stop and service dogs are allowed. They let us bring our dog in but know ahead this is not actually pet friendly. Food, pancakes stellar! Hence the three star review. Other food was a one or no star. Biscuit heavy and doughy, hash browns came out cold and rubbery. Scrambled eggs hard and cold. Very nice staff. Just not great food.

Almost every time we have not been disappointed. Doesn't matter if we eat breakfast at dinner time or all you can eat fish on Fridays. We went this past Thanksgiving and they served everything tasting incredible. we are happy with Black Bear Diner
