I have been there twice. both times have been excellent service. The food was really good. the portion size of the food was huge. the staff will respond to your comments and concerns. as they have mine I've done other reviews of the Black Bear diner and they did remember me. I was not disappointed at all

We first ate at the Black Bear Diner at Mt. Shasta California. This was the very first location ever built. The food was excellent. When we arrived home from our vacation, I immediately emailed the company and asked if they would possibly consider a location in Kansas. They were sort of coy about their plans but made me wonder. I kept emailing them and was pleasantly surprised when I read that they were opening a location in an abandoned restaurant building.
