Upon entry is a beautiful coffee bean aroma !!! Passing up tables of large portion plates. My eyes were bigger than my stomach. But the food was delicious and the waiter Ms.Wendy put us on the specials and her recommendation that didn't let us down. Beware: that homemade spicy pan sausage is very spicy!!! But really good

3 1/2 stars, just can't round up this time. For me, the breakfast is their best meal, they usually get this right (usually is key). Sometimes it's amazing, sometimes it's just okay. Lunch & Dinner: Large portions. Food is typical chain "home style" cooking. Except the home is not grandma's, but the family member that likes to cook, but never got that good at it. The food was great, especially the hash browns with cheese and bacon!! The burger had bacon chopped up on it so you got bacon in every bite. The pancakes get a thumbs up. Brigette our waitress talks fast but had a good attitude.

First, and most importantly, our server, Bridgette, was AMAZING!!! She provided the best service I have experienced in a very long time. My drink never ran dry, she made sure we were not lacking anything at all, and she was very pleasant the entire time. The food was good , the atmosphere was very inviting, and the merchandise was adorable. The best part of the dining experience was most definitely Bridgette! She was just fabulous!

We always eat out on Sunday's after church. Black Bear Diner in Pasadena has been added to our restaurant rotation. There are usually 6 or 7 of us and they are able to accommodate us comfortably. Their menu selection meets everyone's tastes from breakfast for lunch, to small or large portions of the chicken fried steak. The wait staff is always friendly and willing to serve. It was a very tasty meal and we were seated quick even with a packed restaurant. Our waiter was really nice and we left full.
