The food is very good, the service is excellent, but the desserts especially the chocolate cake. The cake is very dry. No moisture whatsoever just ate there yesterday our third visit. All three visits that we have made there. I have always ordered the Bob's big bear burger. The bun for this big hamburger is not big enough. When you start to eat if you cut the burger in half and start to eat it. It falls apart because the bun is not big enough because they put a lot of lettuce on the burger. Food: Burger was above average. The mayo and thousand island kind of dimmed it down for me. 4 Stars Service: I asked the server that I only wanted lettuce, tomato, and onions on my burger. She forgot to also tell the cook to leave out the mayo and thousand island. I can forgive her because she was apologetic, friendly, young, and new. 4.5 Stars Ambiance: There is an odor or aroma or something that was strange to my nose. I'm not sure what it was. 3 Stars. Overall: 4 Stars
Yum! I have eaten here twice now and plan to make this a habit when here for work trips! If you have been going to the ihop nearby, this is your improvement. After several slow service breakfasts without a single refill and average food at best I figured it can't hurt to try something new. This place has kept me loaded with fresh iced tea. What a cute lil diner. I love that the menu is a newspaper that apparently updates, staff were very friendly and attentive and food was great overall. I enjoyed my meatloaf and they had an option for a dinner size or lunch size, but the waitress was kind enough to inform me that if I wanted a cup of soup I might as well get dinner, so I did. Breakfast is the best meal of the day in my opinion. When I get a breakfast invite, I always jump on that chance. This Sunday morning meal happened at this location in Pasa-get down-dena! I underestimated the breakfast crowd and was met with quite a few people waiting inside and out. Luckily, they are a well oiled machine here and get people in and out quickly. Food is definitely worth what you're paying for flavor and portion sizes. Staff was super nice and welcoming a super nice cozy place for a hot breakfast.
