I travel a lot between Sac and Medford on business. BlackBearDiner in Redding has become a sanctuary along the way for this tired, hungry traveler. i usually get my standby the tritip sandwich. It never disappoints. Karen is always on it. Getting what we want before we have to ask for it. II find that we will wait to stop along the way til we get to Redding. Tim always takes care of us there. Its the Best "Just off the Highway" restaurant from Sac to Medford.

So my family and I come to black bear every year for son's birthday. He is disabled and this is his favorite place and the waitress we had was amazing ( Tonya) and the food was delicious.. Thank you

My favorite place to eat ever since I was little ❤️ Ive since moved away but every time I visit this is a must stop destination . They are helping the town of Redding during this Carr fire and it makes me even more proud for this place to be part of my roots .

I love this diner. Great drip coffee, tasty pies and breakfast. It's one of our family favorites. Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere.
Every time we come to Redding, we eat at this resturant. The food & service is consistently good & the prices are reasonable.
