I'm giving 3 stars because the Employees were nice. My husband had the pesto Salmon with salad and loaded baked potato. The Salmon was drowning in pesto, nothing like the picture, he said it was ok but there was to much pesto sauce! I had the surf and turf I received very well done Shrimps (3) along with hard jelly cocktail sauce. Cold and hard Mashed potatoes ( I asked for a new cocktail sauce and potatos) the Tri tip steak wasn't great but I ate 1/2 of it, I ate the shrimp and a few bites of mashed potatoes! Food was good, service was great and it was super clean. We shared a breakfast and there was plenty for both of us.

I've been on a bit of a Yelp quest to hit up as many diners as I can while traveling. First time at Black Bear Diner and it did not disappoint! I got a Bacon Cheeseburger Salad and the hubs got the Bear's Choice Breakfast. Both were delicious and no pun intended, but the portions were "bear-sized" ;-) Service was spot on, professional and quick! Will be back for sure!

Was great when it first came here. Not so much now. The quality has gone down some. Would improve if they will be the place they were when they came here. They still have good up north. It has changed down here like everything else has.

I haven't been a fan of Black Bear diners. We came here for Lunch. This location has got it down. Came in with some coworkers. The inside was decorated nice had plenty of booths and tables. Our waitress was awesome and took good care of us. They got the Tri tip dip sandwich and fries. I got bacon, eggs, and fries. I always order ala carte due to food allergies. We washed it down with some Huckleberry lemonades. It was great. I would come back here for Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner. I think the food and service were fantastic.
