Tonight we decided to bring the family by for dinner and it seems like everyone was busy. Seems like it was an understaffed night. But thankfully we met Ryan our server who came to the rescue. He was very quick to tend to us. He asked if anyone had wait on us yet after we had waited for 10 minutes and no one tend us at all. My kids love coming here for the food and atmosphere. They have a great kids menu. My wife and I love the food and amazing service! We were in Tuesday and Sara was our waitress not only is she sweet but our order was spot on!!! I love the teamwork here my wife and I use it as an example with our children! It shows them how when you work together things get done in a timely manner!! The manager is so sweet she always takes time to check on everyone in the restaurant!! We love the welcoming environment and the 🐻 Bears!
I love coming here. It's cozy and welcoming with fantastic staff and food. Every time I come I'm always welcomed in like family!! Sara is such a sweet girl and a hella awesome server! She's always on top of her game! I have sat back and watched her and the manager working together and it's mind blowing!! They are the multitasking queens!! Several times I've been here and it's always the same great food, awesome service, and treated like family!! Highly recommend
My friend and I stopped by for a bite this afternoon and as per usual it did not disappoint!! Love the chicken and waffle! I'm not sure if it was due to the holiday season but it felt like a Sunday morning it was packed!! We did have to wait a bit to get sat but it was worth the wait!! The staff were great! I was in on Thanksgiving night I had the turkey dinner and it was amazing food came out fast fresh and delicious 😋. As I was eating I heard a coustomer complain about his dinner loudly. I want to say hats off to the manager. I don't know how she stood there calmly and kept apologizing over and over. He was rude and loud! The food was great, the cooks are fast to taking the orders out. But it sits there for the waiters to pick up orders and deliver them you definitelyNeed to assign more waitresses to each table ,food is cold by the time it’s delivered,no fault to the cook or waiters ,need more help .! ,heard many others complain about the wait . M. It’s a shame many left as I was waiting for my table, they are all hard works We will be coming back .

Black Bear Diner in Sugar Land has excellent food and service. The menu is wide in choice and very creative in preparation of the food. It is one of our favorite restaurants for breakfast.
If you're looking for a welcoming environment with awesome service and amazing food come here!!! This was my first time Miguel took very good care of us!! The manager was sweet and helpful. You can tell the the staff really likes their jobs. We did stay for hours talking and NOT once we're we made to feel uncomfortable or unwelcoming but quite the opposite!!
