Quentin was our server. Such a positive vibe and incredibly helpful. He's check up with us but wasn't interrupting conversation or being intrusive. He rocked. Loved the food. The hot chocolate is so worth it.
Had a very pleasant experience today at Black Bear. From the moment we arrived the staff did a great job. Our server Quintin did a fabulous job waiting on our table. It was really nice to have such a friendly and competent server. The food was good today as well so kudos to the kitchen staff also.
This was my first time trying out Black bear diner and I will definitely be coming back. The bear decor was so cute, the food was yummy and my server Edwin was great- very attentive, very kind. My 5 year old loved the happy cub cake and at the end of breakfast she received a scoop of vanilla ice cream with sprinkles that just made her day.
Edwin was an amazing server yes he gave me and my family great services. I will continue to come here more often.
Absolutely delicious down home cooking! We were looking for lunch on way out of Houston and boy were elated to find such a delicious restaurant. Miguel was so awesome, very helpful. Wait staff were courteous and they help each other. Go hungry and leave totally satisfied. We shall return!
Giving 4 stars because my spouses food was awesome! His words, not mine. The service was good and they give you huge portions of food. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner. It does get crowded so get there early if you can. You can sit at the bar but there are booths and tables available.
The food and experience was overall okay. I would have rated it higher, however long wait times to be seated. They should have had heaters on the patio.
Yes we were there several months ago! AS far as service, we were seated in a timely manner. Our waiter was attentive so he got the orders of four people correct. Just one observation the waiter could have check on us a little more to make sure we if we wanted refills of our drinks. The food choices, which listed a variety , on the menu was excellent! Family style atmosphere.
I enjoyed by breakfast here. I love, love the country/cabin interior look! My burger was very tasty. This is one of those places that you can visist frequently and just have a relaxing time enjoying a tasty meal and appreciating the cozy decor.
