Great down home country breakfast. We have been enjoying their food since 1995 at the original Mt Shasta location.
Always a reliable American fare experience. I love breakfast for dinner occasionally and thankfully they cover that well. I rather like their turkey club (which has ham in it too) when I'm looking for a big sandwich with fries. Refills on iced tea is another offering they keep on top of with friendly service.
Service was great, waitress very pleasant and checked on us a few times. But ordered medium steaks and got well done...order over medium eggs but got over easy.
I always get the classic black bear's choice breakfast which comes with your option of eggs cooked to your liking, pancake, waffle or French toast, and a protein such as bacon or sausage. It is quite pricey for a complete breakfast meal, but it was pretty filling. I alway try to call in my order because it takes a while. The atmosphere is pretty dark inside and old so I rarely dine in. There is only a couple locations in the South Bay area of Black Bear left, but I feel like this is a good location for it. Amazing service from Alexa, very attentive to our needs. Ordered a Bears choice and the waffle was delicious. Highly recommended this place. We definitely will come back.
This is a fun place for brunch! Kids loved their food. Waffles and pancakes are delicious! The environment is very friendly and really fun for kids and grown ups to enjoy a bear decor theme Cristal was our server and she was very attentive and friendly. It was a beary nice experience!
Great experience overall. Food was delicious, it came out perfect and on time. The ambience was really good too. Restaurant was kinda packed but our server Alexandra was wonderful, super kind and attentive.
