Recommendedmy first time to California and this is the first place I ate. the food was great and service was good hope to eat there again in the future.

Have never had a bad meal or bad service at Black Bears. The food is great and you get plenty for the price. Always been greeted with a smile, clean eating area and love their coffee.

This is my go to place... The food is really good and the staff is full of smiles! Makes me feel good to be around people who care. The only thing is refilling my drink...sometimes they forget... This last time (yesterday) They young lady was ontop of it. We had 7 people and she was awesome!
I ordered a dish of New York steak with mash potatoes and corn and requested it medium cooked but the restaurant made it well done. That why the meat was kind of hard. I think Black Bear in Emeryville is better.
Excellent service and great food easy parking nice location. Similar to the other two black bears that I've been to.
