Kristal made our breakfast great, including keeping up with all the changes to our order and additional things we asked for!!! I fly in from Boston to see my bestie (we have a tradition of coming to Black Bear Dinner as soon as I get picked up from the airport). Today we shared the meat omelette and sourdough toast. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous as promised. I'm fairly new to the west coast, and this is one restaurant I should've visited sooner!
Came back for the All you can eat Friday Fish Fry. The fish had an even crunchy breading and the fillet was even in thickness so no hard parts. Nicely moist and flaky, fresh or well prepared frozen. My second Fillet was brought to me without asking! Two was enough for me. The fries were crispy and moist inside. The hush puppies were okay. The tartar sauce was okay and they didn't have cocktail sauce. The Bear hot sauces were good.
Food was delicious, atmosphere was homey and adorable (love the bears!) and service was great thanks to Alexa our wonderful and attentive server. Thanks again!
LOVE Black Bear! Was my first time and enjoyed every minute of a delicious breakfast. With the most lovely staff, Alexa took the best care my partner and I. Thank you!
Good food, great service. Friendly staff. Cristal went above and beyond as our server. Very pleasant and attentive.
Server was amazing. Made sure our drinks was filled and the kids had everything they needed! 10/10 on experience food quality and customer care! My kids say the vibes at black bear are the best everyone is so positive! One of my kids pulled her tooth out and they brought us a sauce container with a lid so she wouldn't loose her tooth!
