Great food ! Great service ! Atmosphere is super family friendly . Our server Cece made sure to keep our coffee filled, food came out perfect .Love the country style options( corn bread was good ) . Would definitely recommend !

Christmas dinner was amazing. We ordered takeout ahead of time, 8 total. Four turkey and four prime rib. All came with broccoli, salad, mashed potatoes, stuffing and gravy and of course a slice of pumpkin pie. Servings were enough for two meals. Turkey was moist and tender. Prime rib melted in your mouth. When we came to pickup the meals the service was very attentive. Thank Manager, Manny

I've always came here to eat and it was amazing! It was Christmas and my family decided to have a breakfast brunch, which was good!! I ordered the bears choice and it was good I did love my pancakes and I'm not even a huge fan of pancakes like that!! For my drink I ordered the prosecco and it was good!!! I've been here a few times when I am in the SF valley and it is ALWAYS DELICIOUS and PLENTIFUL! Food: DELICIOUS and FLAVORFUL! On this visit, I ordered the Pot Roast Melt, fries and a cold Coors Light! I recommend it! Service: Good! It was busy. Regardless, service was prompt and friendly. Thank you Julio! Ambience: Warm and friendly. Overall, I give Black Bear Cafe a 5 outta 1 to 5, 5 being GREAT! When in the SF Valley, stop by and enjoy!

Stopped by after many years of not coming here. All I can say food and service was amazing. Our serve Daniel was very helpful and kind. By the looks of it he was working working on floor by himself and I give him props since I know it isn't easy. Would definitely come here for the food again Had a NY Steak and Blackened Salmon delicious and portion size are good.

Service was fast and friendly. Food very tasty and bid servings. Love the "bear" theme. Plenty of parking available in parking lot off the street. Good location in Tarzana. I got the $11 meal deal (M-F only). Got the chicken sandwich and it was so crunchy outside and tender inside. Very juicy and would order it again. I got onion rings with my meal. I like Black Bear diner for its large portions and great food. But today their French toast was really bad. It was dry. It lacked flavor And it honestly ruined my appetite. My friend however really enjoyed her food. Also, the orange juice did not taste freshly squeezed. It did taste like it came out of a bottle. It wasn't bad but it wasn't fresh squeezed which is what I wanted. Don't think I will come back to this location again.
