Went there on Christmas for dinner and the food, ambiance and especially the service was excellent. Our server Scott was very friendly and his customer service was top notch. He knew when to come back to our table at the right time and met all of our needs. Really appreciated Scott's customer service skills, especially with it being Christmas and he was at work.

The food was great She had the Turkey Dinner with Mashed Potatoes, Gravy & Stuffing! I had Ham Dinner, With Double Mashed Potatoes, Double Gravy, Stuffing & We Both Had Pumpkin Pie for dessert! And Scott our server made us feel like royalty!0

Went to Black Bear diner in Ventura on Harbor Boulevard over the Thanksgiving weekend. We had a very large group and our waitress and servers were excellent. Never had to wait for anything. All food was prepared as ordered would highly recommend for family, dining and exceptional value.

Always a clean environment. Pancakes are so delicious! The food is consistently good. Our server Cheryl was fantastic. Cheryl was so friendly, efficient, patient, and knowledgeable.

Loved the bacon bleu burger and Pattie melt. Little guy enjoyed the grilled cheese. Solid family lunch experience. Great service too. If you dine in, ask for Cheryl, she'll take good care of you and your family!

Please inform you servers that you can order a Santa Maria Tri tip dinner before 4:00, I told her I had ordered it several times and she still wouldn't serve me. I ask Jesus he informed me she was wrong and would make sure he let her know! Thanks Jesus! Please make sure she knows the customer knows best! The four stars was for Jesus definitely not the server!!

We had a great experience at Black Bear Diner! The food was absolutely amazing, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. A special shout-out to Cheryl, who took exceptional care of us--she kept our coffees full and provided truly outstanding service. If you're in Ventura, definitely check out Black Bear Diner. Highly recommended!
