Busy, seated quickly, friendly, clean, good service, good food, and good management! I wouldn't eat breakfast anywhere else in Saint George.
I had a fantastic experience at Black Bear Diner thanks to Jrynee! From the moment we walked in, she made us feel welcome with her warm smile and friendly attitude. She was incredibly attentive, made great menu suggestions, and checked in often to make sure everything was perfect. thank you so much.
Server was amazing!!! Ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with mashed potatoes, gravy and green beans. I couldn't eat the green beans or gravy because it was way too salty. Ate some of the steak but it was also salty. In fact brought my meal home and tried to wash off the salt in order to eat. It was that salty.
We've been to this Black Bear numerous times before but never before for the Fish Fry. It was amazing and cooked just right! Delicious! Julie, our waitress was sweet, professional and personable and went the extra mile. Sydney, the manager runs a great restaurant. It's always very clean and cared for! We'll be back many more times!!

Another outstanding Black Bear Diner experience! We travel in our RV fulltime so it's always extra special when we are treated like family. Our server Andy did just that. He was super friendly, prompt, and attentive! And the food as always was amazing, huge portions and delcious! We will be back!
We arrived at Black Bear for a dinner meeting and they were pretty slammed. Still, Nancy was so very accommodating, engaging and kind. We were seated and even while our server had a number of large parties, she made us feel like we were her only guests. The Bigfoot Chicken Fried Steak was something. Great sized portion, with two large sides and couldn't finish it all. On top of that were some of the biggest rolls that made for the full carb overload. These things were massive and amazing.
