Had dinner there two weeks ago and it was great!! We had a smoky burger and a fried chicken meal and it was delicious! Was surprised how little time we had to wait for our food considering it was a Saturday! Also we had the nicest server named Sam, very helpful with the menu and was spot on for our drink recommendation, she even entertained us with a couple laughs. Can't wait to see her again and come back to try more yummy things!
We had never eaten at a Black Bear Diner before so decided to give it a try. The food was excellent! Very tasty, especially loved the cinnamon roll French toast. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was sort of mountain-cabin-like, which was kind of fun. Would definitely eat here again.
First experience- needed a good breakfast on a drive to British Colombia. This popped up as a stop on our map and I'm so glad it did. The welcoming staff and jukebox were so nice at 730 on a Saturday! The atmosphere is homey and it was nice sitting at the diner counter. Good food - I had a California omelette with a ton of avocado and a pancake as a treat.
I went to the Diner with a friend after attending a meeting. We were both starved. We both had the lighter version of the Chicken Fried Steak. It was amazing, except for the gravy. I'm not sure if they buy it premade, but white gravy is so easy to make they should. It was pretty flavorless, tasted a little floury, like they used too much flour to fat. I'll probably go again, even thought it's a way away. I've gone to other locations in the past and it was all wonderful. The server took forever to take our order. See... read more
This was my first time eating at a Black Bear Diner, I had a wonderful experience! I went at an off hour when it wasn't too busy, and service was very kind and attentive. I like that the menu had lots of classic options-- the chicken and waffles were good!! Love the cute vibe of the diner, it was very cozy.
Exactly what you would expect from a Black Bear restaurant. Good food, hearty portions, excellent service.
Their pies made pi day delicious- banana cream and coconut cream so good and whipped cream was the perfect amount of sweetness!
1st let me say that Robert did an outstanding job waiting on our party of 8, Thank you, Robert! Our meals were very consistent with the Black Bear Restaurant Chain. All meals were prepared as ordered... and I have to say that my NY Steak was tender, and seasoned well. The restaurant was very clean, the restrooms were clean. Prices were consistent with the restaurant chain. I would definitely visit this location again!
The ribs and shrimp were excellent. The fries were excellent. The garlic bread was mediocre. The eggs were cooked just right. They chicken fried steak was good. They were very busy and staff were polite and helpful. The parking lot was busy but free.
