Daniel might be the best server of all time. He served me the yummiest hash browns that have ever touched this planet. He sat next to us taking our order creating a more personal experience. Everyone needs a Daniel. Go to black bear to meet your Daniel.

After a difficult academic test I took, I felt a strong urge to dine on food, and the closest location was black bear diner. As I entered the premises, that atmosphere was stratocumulusy relaxing. As I was seated, Jessica, my waiter, Jessica, greeted me with utmost professional happiness. I ordered a pancake, and when I took the first bite, I believed I reached Nirvana, the pancake covered my tongue with the taste of golden leaves. Jessica acted so professional and was so happy, that I honestly think she should work at hell'... read more

I like Black Bear. I'm grading it on a handicapped scale, taking into consideration that it is a chain diner. The portions are generous and service is pretty efficient. I think their breakfast offerings are far superior to the rest of their menu

I usually get the Bear Choice breakfast, They have great Bacon here, I just wish they'd serve my Eggs/Bacon on a separate plate from my pancakes. I don't really care for syrup mixed with eggs. Usually by the time I get to my pancakes they are cold after eating the bacon and eggs. The Staff is adequate. Depends on the server, there have been some great ones in the past. My last visit was just 3/5 stars. Restaurant was messy, I visited on Sunday about 3 in the afternoon so I could see they were in recovery mode from th... read more
