They did a great job with my large black walnut tree. Appreciated their communications before and during their work on the tree. Thoughtful about the balance between aesthetics and tree health. Importantly, everyone was being careful and had safety gear on.
The crew showed up on time and did what I wanted them to do. The job was done very professionally and in a way that was even better than what I had hoped for. Even though they could not use their bucket truck and had to work “old school” as they called it, they managed to really clear the overhanging branches to a degree that really surprised me. I got estimates from Blooma and two other tree service companies for pruning a large red oak tree. I decided to go with Blooma, based partly on price and partly on other considerations. Everyone I dealt with at Blooma has been friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The arborist doing the initial estimate made useful suggestions and did not try to upsell. We had quotes from Blooma and one other service for a complex job. The job involved five neighbors with differing priorities and required permission from all five. I told Blooma we were getting together with the neighbors to discuss the job and the owner, KD, came out personally to make sure all went smoothly. He again came out on the day of the job to make sure all was smooth (of course, at a $250/hr port-to-port rate!!!). The crew was incredibly professional and easy to work with as the job went on. Eric Brown and his crew did expert and careful removal of three trees that had fallen on our house and shed. He is very knowledgeable about tree health assessment and procedures for mitigating potential future issues. The crew did a fantastic job of limb clean up and left us with nice stacks of fireplace sized rounds. I highly recommend this company!!
