They did a great job with my large black walnut tree. Appreciated their communications before and during their work on the tree. Thoughtful about the balance between aesthetics and tree health. Importantly, everyone was being careful and had safety gear on.
The crew was super thorough and professional! I was a bit anxious about how the trees would look after pruning, but the trees looked very natural afterwards. They actively asked for my input as to whether I wanted more/less pruned. We have a huge big leaf maple tree and they very skillfully climbed up to get some dead branches. I was impressed and will definitely use their services later when it's time to prune again!
Overall, our experience with Blooma was good. Unlike other places, they actually responded to our inquiry. Additionally, unlike other service providers, they showed up on time on the day they said and did what they said they were going to do. On the surface, this might seem basic, but our experience with other service providers (other tree trimming places, landscapers, plumbers) tells us this this level of customer service is not common place. Highly recommend. Called three companies to get bids on several dead/dying trees (1 dead from heat dome, 2 dead from birch beetle) and Blooma arborist was great with information, ideas to reduce the total cost. Crew was EXCELLENT! Professional--"here's what we're going to do and how we're going to do it", courteous, and efficient--cleaned and yard looks better than before. Happy to give Blooma 5-stars.
They can get *very* busy seasonally, so plan ahead! (I called in September and the process to having my trees pruned took until early January). With that being said, they did such an excellent job with my trees, explained the cuts they were making and why, cleaned up beautifully and even took care of some extra yard debris I had. My trees already look so much better and I am excited to see what they do this spring.
