Dr. Stephen Longenecker is THE absolute best hip & knee replacement surgeon in PA. He performed both of my hip replacements (2005 & 2014). He also performed my mother, aunt and uncle's hip & knee replacements so he is the number one choice for us. He is brilliant, innovative and very compassionate. I am now able to walk, swim, run, etc. without pain. A skilled practitioner and surgeon, Dr. Longenecker has my unwavering gratitude for restoring my quality of life. Thank you, Dr. Longenecker !
Had anterior hip replacement in November. Had several follow up appts. with soft tissue problems. I felt prepared for surgery but not for "after surgery" issues that arose. I feel the after process could be better explained as to what to expect. The hospital joint replacement class was a waste of time. Dr. Longenecker does listen but feel the joint replacement process could be updated with more useful information rather than a binder showing pictures of people getting in and out of cars.
Absolutely the best! We travel from Florida to see Dr Longenecker, because he is the only Dr we trust. The staff is caring and helpful everytime I call. Kudos to the best Dr ever. We love you Dr Longenecker.
Explains thoroughly what the problem is and what needs to be done. He was extremely gentle when he examined me. His staff is very patient and helpful. Over all this is a very nice practice!
Dr. L has always been very straightforward and up front with me, showing me x-rays, explaining in regular, understandable terms all conditions and options!
