I started care with Brandy Hill, communicating that I was only in need of med management. I was asked during our first and second appointment if I was in need of therapy as well, to which I declined because I received therapy from another provider. Since I am on a high deductible plan, I budgeted for med management only. Brandy Hill decided to bill me for med management AND therapy services anyway for the same appointment in the same day causing me to have to pay more than I was expecting and agreed to. Over-diagnoses, seems poorly supervised and poorly trained in diagnostics, and (agency or provider?) double bills half hour telehealth as two different things to get more medicare/secondary insurance money possibly.
She’s really nice at first but jumped to conclusions extremely fast and wouldn’t listen to what i had to say when I didn’t agree with the medicine she prescribed. I approached the topic very politely, but she responded very snappy and immediately canceled our future appointments and told me to find someone else to help me. Seems like she’s only there to make money considering she was only prescribing me $400 medications :/
I went to see Brandy because of a change in insurance. I had seen the same clinician for almost 5 years and she was good to me. I went to Brandy so she could maintain my medications as my mood was stable at the time but I expressed concern with increased lack of focus and concentration. She did not address my primary concern at all. Instead, she switched up ALOT of my medications and didn't even give me a therapeutic dose of a new medication I felt she was forcing me to take. My initial reaction was negative, but I think she's one of the better psych hospital providers .
