I have been living here for almost 6 months. The apartment complex is really safe for the New Orleans area. The staff are very nice and helpful. They fixed everything I needed in a short time. They kept my apartment away from cockroaches when I saw some walking around the kitchen and bathroom area. It was a renovated unit with a washer and dryer. I just moved out because I was relocated for work to another state. I really recommend Surf Rider apartment homes to be your new sweet home.

I lived at the breakers for 2 years. It was a good stay. The rent compared to how outdated it's pretty high. Staff were nice. But the property is outdated, even the interior needs renovation and to be upgraded. They use cheap material, like the paint you can tell is not high quality, the blinds they use is the cheapest material, if they bend they break they were cheap plastic. Maintenance is a hit or miss. For simple things they would come and do it, not all the time though for example I had my light glass sheild broken... read more

These apartments are spacious and the area is fairly quiet. The leasing office manager, staff, and maintenance crew are great! I lived here for 3.5 years and never had any issues. Work orders were always addressed fairly quickly, rent increases at lease renewal were fair, and I always felt safe in this complex/neighborhood.

Jennifer in the office has gone above and beyond to assist me with my relocation. I toured several other apartment and condo spaces in New Orleans and Metairie, but I could tell from the very first interaction with the team at Breakers that I would be well taken care of and it’s well maintained and managed.
