I have been a patient of Dr. Guidry for nearly two years, originally seeking treatment for bipolar disorder — a diagnosis I had received prior. I feel like the diagnosis was just kept the same and not reevaluated. During that time and rushed appointments, I was prescribed Latuda which I had already been on, which caused uncomfortable dissociation and never improved my symptoms. I am so grateful to have Dr Guidry as a provider and have had great experiences with all of the Life Stance staff as a new patient. He is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to and wants to get to know you in order to properly diagnose you rather than to see you and make a diagnoses within minutes. If you've never been treated by a psychiatrist before it can be very difficult to walk through the door the first time. I can attest to that. But after visiting Dr. Guidry l would say it's one of the best decisions I've ever made regarding my well being. He is compassionate, patient and encouraging without being judgemental or overly forcefull when asking questions. In simple terms I would just say if you're seeking assistance with mental health issues you could not find a better physician.
