The place was great! Fit our party of 9 adults, 3 kids, 3 babies, and a dog comfortably! The kids/babies stayed safe upstairs in a very spacious open concept, and on the freshly stained decks with the use of some baby gates. We really enjoyed our stay at Daddy Mac’s Beach Shack. The house was beautiful and very clean as well as the pool and hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked with cook wear, utensils and dishes, etc. Although we did not use them, there were tons of games in the closet if you have a rainy day or just need a break from the beach. Shawna at Shore Details helped my family book a successful wheelchair accessible beach home in Salvo. The house we stayed at was perfect for our family size, with a fully working and dependable elevator. Shore Details was responsive and helpful with all questions in planning. Their rental contracts and insurance I think are very fair and balanced leaving less worry and work on our end. We absolutely loved our annual stay in the Outerbanks. The weather was amazing and so was the house. I would love to give 5 stars but we never got to use the theater room as a family. The lightbulb blew and we were left with no theater room. We all suggest to leave bulbs in storage.
