Looks like a super high-end place and a very well taken care of one. Did not try anything here but macaroons look good and so are the pastries. It’s definitely on the high side of the prices, but is to be compared with central Paris. That will be different.
Conveniently located to draw you in after hours in The Louvre. We were starving so we popped in. All drinks are nonalcoholic / mocktails. Food was good, desserts were good as well. Service was pleasant. I do feel we paid a premium for the restaurant’s location, but it gave us some much needed reset time with the kids after the museum.
All the food was fantastic, dish after dish. The dessert is what brought us into the restaurant but unfortunately the desserts were just okay. Very pretty but lacked excitement when eating. The rest of the food we ordered had that wow factor we were hoping the desserts had. Strongly recommend eating. Also the decor is beautiful, its like upscale cafe style with Chandeliers.
A very posh and flashy looking caffe we stumbled upon on our visit to the Louvre Museum on the way out. Kids were hungry and it's underneath on the way out to Rue De Rivoli. So much choice in the Desserts on display to choose from. We had Tiramisu, Black Forest, Éclairs and also a Strawberry Tart. Kids had spaghetti and also a chicken burger. Both ok.. We had a really tasty paris Brest pistachio flavor and a hot chocolate here after wandering around the museum. The cafe was decorated so well with French green colored chairs, neon light, and chandeliers. The Paris Brest is not too sweet. It is perfect. The hot chocolate is not the gourmet style we were hoping for. It is more like an instant powder mix. But we had a good relaxing time here.
