Ladies and gents as you know by now this restaurant is a personal favourite. An all round star. Always and I means always delivers, the variety is what does it for me. I have a basic palate and they had multiple dishes that I enjoyed throughout my experiences of visiting many branches and it’s definitely a place that serves everyone. A stylish café with solid coffee — but let down by slow service and mixed attentiveness. The main front-of-house staff member was quick, knowledgeable, and handled things well once engaged — but getting to that point took longer than it should have. Beautiful location and pastries. I ordered frangipani with ice cream and custard. I notified a waiter to let him know the custard was cold and he said that’s how we do it here. When the original waitress came to clear the table she confirmed the custard should not be cold.
The café offers a really extensive menu, including not only desserts and drinks but also full meals. However, we came just for coffee and something sweet. We ordered a piece of cake, which was truly delicious, and pancakes—perfectly fluffy and tasty. We also had coffee and mulled wine, and everything was spot on. This is the best branch in London—the food is amazing. However, whenever I visit this branch there is one guy name jagmeet who always gives off a hostile, almost racist vibe. He is rude and unwelcoming. On the other hand, Naseem and Rustem G are fantastic—warm, and friendly. Recommendations 1. Mushroom Risotto 2. Penne in red sauce pasta
