Ladies and gents as you know by now this restaurant is a personal favourite. An all round star. Always and I means always delivers, the variety is what does it for me. I have a basic palate and they had multiple dishes that I enjoyed throughout my experiences of visiting many branches and it’s definitely a place that serves everyone. A stylish café with solid coffee — but let down by slow service and mixed attentiveness. The main front-of-house staff member was quick, knowledgeable, and handled things well once engaged — but getting to that point took longer than it should have. The café offers a really extensive menu, including not only desserts and drinks but also full meals. However, we came just for coffee and something sweet. We ordered a piece of cake, which was truly delicious, and pancakes—perfectly fluffy and tasty. We also had coffee and mulled wine, and everything was spot on. I was pleasantly surprised 😳 the food was good. I ordered a pumpkin potato soup and it was so 🤤 I also ordered grilled salmon with a size of fries. The soup was big enough to be a meal BTW
DO NOT COME IF YOU HAVE A NUT ALLERGY. Every cake on the menu has tree nuts in it. Since we came for coffee and some sweet treats, we had a look at the menu and worked out that only the pastries came without nuts. We discussed with a waiter and we worked out we could remove Nutella from the banana and strawberry crepes, and get some syrup on the side. When it arrived we only received a plain crepe( pictured).
