I remember going to camp Buckner's when I was a little kid I was living in a foster system known as Buckner's children's home here in Lubbock Texas!!The last time I was there was in 2003... Man I miss this place lots of fun things to do and a lot of positive people.. back in those days you would go there and spend a whole week and within that week you would have a blast or at least I did lots of fond memories .They used to offer a lot of different activities such as archery, rifleery hiking horseback riding arts and crafts ... read more

Nice large facility. Lunch & dinner were fantastic, but breakfast was lacking in size/quality. There are a lot of fun activities available. The on-site shop is tiny & has very limited items, but Kingsland is a short 7 minute drive

Food quality was very poor. Facilities were okay. Hiking area was good. Waterside area was decent but certainly has some rough edges that could be addressed.

Clean bathroom, nice people, yummy food, and a lot of fun activities!!!!! I love this place so much! Zip line and rope course are must tries, but I also enjoy simply go on its hiking trial to enjoy the nature.

A place that is definitely perfect for camps...very friendly staff, clean bedrooms, play areas, swimming pool, it has everything you need for a camp, it also has access for the disabled, why not five stars, it's only for the food.. otherwise I recommend it.
