A wonderful neighborhood gem, tucked in the Woodlawn area. Very cozy, with chill vibes and good food. The service was super friendly and accommodating. The menu is short, but the offerings are all amazing. Definitely recommend the chicken, but it is special order so you will have to allow for 30 minutes or so. Spend that time sipping wine and chatting with friends. They will enjoy it. Get a reservation ahead, as the space is small and they fill up quick.
After hearing so many great things, we finally made our first visit, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. From the moment the food started arriving, it was clear that a lot of care goes into every dish. I would give this place 4.5 stars if I could! The portion sizes for the price are INCREDIBLE and all the staff were really professional and friendly! We ordered the chicken pâté (delicious), rapini (very overcooked and a bit bland), the special pasta of the day tagliatelle with porcini (flavor 100, slightly overcooked as well), the mussels (amazing), and tiramisu (delicious but the middle was slightly frozen - my friend wanted to point out that the texture was otherwise great, the lady finger layers weren’t too soggy!) Absolutely delicious Italian food with such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The service was genuinely kind and friendly, the chicken liver pâté was exceptional, and the veggie risotto was absolutely yum - rich, flavorful, and a very generous portion. The cannolis were also some of the best I’ve ever had. A true gem - can’t wait to come back!
I love this restaurant, and I finally took my parents here last night. They were so impressed. The quality of the pasta is always amazing and so fresh. Also do NOT sleep on the eggplant involtini — I hadn’t had it before and it was definitely one of our favorite things we ordered. I could seriously have just that with bread and wine and be so happy! The corn farfalle was incredible and same with the pork ragu. Thank you! :)
