During my initial appointment Dr. Cantor spent 40 minutes with me reviewing my MRI in great detail. He explained why I was experiencing numbness and nerve pain and how he intended to surgically repair the area by fusing the L5 - S1 disc subsequently taking pressure off the nerve. After the surgery he spent 20 minutes with my husband going over his assessment of the procedure. I highly recommend Dr Cantor!

I can't even begin to say enough positive things about Dr. Cantor and his team. if you're having spinal issues and are looking for other opinions like I was, I would have to say I think youre in the right place, do yourself a favor and consult with Dr. Cantor. Dr. Cantor was so thorough in his detailed explanation of my MRI results. His knowledgeable explanation was formulated by his many years of spinal care and surgery. His kind and patient demeanor was reassuring as I was informed about my MRI results. Which turns out to be a Spondylolisthesis that I have had since I was a kid. (Years and years of unexplained back and leg pain.) Over the years I have never found another doctor that even addressed my back pain to any significant degree. Seeing the MRI image was unsettling and I ... read more

I went to my local arm surgeon with tingling down my right arm. After an ex-ray I was sent to see a spine surgeon and an MRI. found out I has severe deterioration of my c2-6 vertebrae and severe stenosis of my spinal canal. A surgery was needed, the surgeon wanted to open the vertebrae and use metal rods or screws to stabilize the spine, front and back. Went to Duke University, again rods and screws, then Carolina spine and brain, same results. I spent days on the internet because the methods would be an end to my active lif... read more
