I lived with neck pain, headaches and pain down my left arm to my index finger. Dr. Cantor performed spinal fusion with a three inch titanium plate and eight screws. I can honestly say seven months after surgery I am pain free and have zero referred pain down my arm. Unless you experience the surgery and relief you couldn’t appreciate the quality of life after surgery. So glad I made this decision.

After having a fusion and a disk replacement my main pain went away, but I still was having lots of weakness and decrease balance, cramping and nerve pain. Could not sleep for at least two years. I went to see at least five neurosurgeons but all of them wanted to do another back surgery because the MRI showed a problem in my back. I am a physical therapist was frustrated because nobody really listened to my symptoms. When I went to see Dr. Cantor he spent all the time needed, doing all kind of tests. Finally ask me to do cer... read more

Dr. Jeffrey Cantor, in the span of just a few minutes, he detected and identified the root cause of my right hand’s issues; stopping the run-around that I’ve been given from so many physicians during the last past 6 months. Dr. Cantor successfully performed the surgery on June 25th at Holy Cross and my prognosis is very encouraging; I have recuperated my RH 85% of mobility, even though, I was expecting 70%, according to Dr. Cantor’ assessment. I’m still in OT and I got the feeling that I can teach 100%.

Relax and dont be scared. Our bodies breakdown over the years and that's reality. The Spine is the major vehicle in our bodies and if it's broken other parts of our body will immensely be negatively affected! Dr. Cantor has perfected the latest in technology when operating on the spine. Do the research, talk to your family and make the time to understand what your dealing with. As humans, we all can have anxiety going to appointments. I'll suggest you take a half day or whole day off and schedule your appointment with Dr. Ca... read more

When all other surgeons told me I had no choice but to have a full 6 level cervical fusion, which would have dramatically changed my athletic lifestyle - Dr. Cantor promised I would return to tap dancing post surgery and his positive energy and amazing personal reviews gave me the hope I needed. I chose Dr. Cantor’s skilled surgery different technique. As promised, I went back to tap dancing with full balance and feeling in all limbs, which I had lost pre- surgery! Thank you Dr. Cantor for your compassion and talent. “I got ... read more

Dr. Cantor saved my life. After 11 years of searching I finally found someone with a solution I could accept. Others wanted to fuse 5 vertebrae. I refused. On 12/3/18 Dr. Cantor performed posterior decompression surgery C2 - C6, then did an anterior single fusion C3/C4. My vertebrae are now stable, my spinal canal is wide open, and after 3.5 months I have almost full range of motion in my neck, no pain, my symptoms of spinal cord impingement are gone and I'm not afraid to move anymore.

Dr. Cantor is amazing. From the first minute I met him there was no question that he was the Surgeon for me. He spent lots of time with me on diagnosis explaining my issues and his plan to correct them perfectly. His staff are caring and for a surgical experience this was tops. I had many questions just before and certainly after and I always got the answers, instructions, and care that I needed. If your in need of spinal surgery and you’re reading this you’ve found your guy. Don’t think twice.

Dr. Cantor is truly a professional doctor who takes care of the total patient before surgery and after the procedure. He insists that the body before surgery be placed on a special diet to minimize any difficulties during the procedure, and he is always looking out for the patient's best interest. The procedure that was performed on my cervical spine is called a laminectomy with fusion for spinal stenosis. I will always recommend Dr. Cantor to my friends and family for any spinal procedure.

As a Recovery Room RN with 38 yrs experience I would sometimes see back/neck surgical patients return for re-do surgery due to pain. So, after injuring my neck, I waited many years before I attempted it. Seeing that Dr Cantor had perfected better techniques and instruments and that cared about the patients long-term outcome, I had my neck surgery in Feb, 2018 and I feel terrific !
