I am beyond upset and frustrated with Dr. Carmody. I took my elderly dog for a checkup on his quality of life. When she came inside, the first thing Dr. Carmody said to me was, "Euthanize him. He's suffering." There is a MUCH better way to communicate that to someone. She didn't even begin by asking me how he's doing, his quality of life, my concerns, or what I have been considering for him. This veterinarian's office is kind and caring to you and your pets. We have met with most of the vets here and love them all. I had to euthanize my dog and Tess was amazing! She was very kind and respected my relationship with my dog.
I just started using Canyons Veterinary Clinic. I am a part time resident in the valley, coming to the area each winter to ski. My Westie is getting up in years and suffers from a chronic health condition. I knew I needed to make sure we had continuity of care while in SLC for 3 months. I just returned from a sick visit and was impressed that the staff took the time to read his copious medical records and recommended treatment. This is the second time I visit Canyons veterinary clinic and I’m so happy I found this place. Both times the doctors that have seen my Frenchie have been very nice, shown lots of patience and love to my Frenchie and they do seem to care about your pet’s health. I will definitely go back.
Had our first visit with our new puppy for his first doctors appointment. We had a great experience with Canyons Veterinary Clinic! Great staff at the front desk, great nurses and doctors! Especially thanks to Dr. Patrias for making this such a smooth and calm experience for the dog and us dog parents.
