I am beyond upset and frustrated with Dr. Carmody. I took my elderly dog for a checkup on his quality of life. When she came inside, the first thing Dr. Carmody said to me was, "Euthanize him. He's suffering." There is a MUCH better way to communicate that to someone. She didn't even begin by asking me how he's doing, his quality of life, my concerns, or what I have been considering for him. This is the second time I visit Canyons veterinary clinic and I’m so happy I found this place. Both times the doctors that have seen my Frenchie have been very nice, shown lots of patience and love to my Frenchie and they do seem to care about your pet’s health. I will definitely go back.
Absolutely wonderful! When calling in the morning having a massive anxiety attack because my puppy tore the padding off his paw, they got me in the same day, thank goodness for cancelations. After telling them that my dog is a little reactive with other dogs, they brought us through a back door instead of making mine and kodas anxiety worse by waiting in the lobby. From phone call to schedule to walking out of first appt was an absolute pleasure. My vet of ten years decided to follow his dreams and move 6 hours away so I needed a new vet. I was referred by a friend who takes her cat there. Everyone is incredibly kind, knowledgeable and friendly. This will be our new forever vet home. 3000 percent recommend. My cats had a great experience as did I.
Best vets, staff, price and experience! As the state Director for Humane World for Animals, I have been to many clinics. In two weeks, I needed help with one of my fosters, and help with two other dogs. Every visit, the staff was professional, compassionate and followed up with check-in calls. It was refreshing to have them reaching out to see how things were going, and ensure that we were on the right track. The clinic is clean and quiet. You can’t go wrong and I can’t recommend this place enough for your beloved pet.
