Scheduling my appointment took a little time but once I talked with someone the scheduling was quick and easy. Dr Ryan is always so nice and informative! Every nurse I interacted with had a great attitude and took good care of me before and after my colonoscopy. I would highly recommend this practice
I had an out-patient procedure yesterday with Dr John Smith. All of the nurses and assistants were wonderful. Very caring and made me feel very comfortable. Dr Smith is an outstanding Gastroenterologist! He is very supportive and cares about his patients. He also has a great bedside manner with some humor thrown in, which I loved. He’s not just a doctor, he’s a great human being and I would recommend Dr Smith and his practice to anyone!
My procedure was well explained in advance, and I was taken back right on time. The nurse was pleasant and efficient and explained what was going to happen as did the anesthesiologist. Dr Ryan was prompt and also explained the procedure again and made sure I was comfortable. It went quickly and my recovery time was minimal. Dr Ryan explained the results and answered questions fully. Totally professional and helpful staff.
This might sound weird: But if any office can make a colonoscopy a positive experience, it's this office. From doing the paperwork at the front of office (which isn't the booklet typically given to patients during check-in), to initial medical intake, to the anesthesia assessment, and finally the calm and kind Dr. Smith. This staff exudes kindness and everyone is professional and caring. Very impressed!
The staff was awesome and care was excellent. My only caveat was the Doctor’s manners.. He walked into the procedure room without acknowledging me. One of the nurses did the same. Small thing i guess but not hard to do either. As he walked into the room he should have greeted me. Instead he immediately started conversing with the nurse then waked around the bed I was in for several minutes before speaking. I commented on it and his response was he had a lot to do.
