I had an excellent experience at this clinic during my endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive, making me feel comfortable and well cared for throughout the entire process. I don’t normally leave reviews; however, I wanted to share my experience. I spent over 35 years as a healthcare consultant, so I tend to notice things most patients probably don’t. When I first walked into the office, the front desk staff seemed stressed, worn out, and unhappy. A few minutes later, the young lady who performed my scan walked up to the front desk, and the entire atmosphere changed. I was referred to Dr Hornbuckle and this office by the Sentara Leigh ER about a year ago. I’ve only seen Dr Hornbuckle two times, at my initial visit and during my recent colonoscopy a few days ago, but have been to the office a handful of times. Dr Hornbuckle is very kind and has the best bedside manner, I would highly recommend him to anyone I know. I use the portal frequently, as it is easier for me during the day, and always receive a speedy response.
I have been under the care of Dr. Michael Ryan for my colonoscopy for the past ten years, and I couldn’t be more pleased. Not only is he an accomplished researcher, but he also has a fantastic bedside manner that makes the experience comfortable. I was promptly attended to on schedule. Everyone was friendly, respectful and professional, and I felt at ease and comfortable throughout my procedure. The doctor took time in explaining the findings and treatment and I felt very much assured upon discharge and felt good on my way home.
