I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Gastrointestinal and Liver Specialists of Tidewater. I have been a patient since 2021. Despite living in Richmond, I consistently drove over two hours for appointments because I trusted their care. I have raved about this practice in the past and recommended their providers to others who needed GI services. The staff are quick and courteous. You are registered and seated. Next is the nurse/technician to bring you to your "room". They are caring and make sure you are comfortable. The doctor was great (we met at my last procedure, and he made me so comfortable and confident that I asked for him by name. The anesthesiologist was pleasant and confident. On the whole, I would suggest them to everyone!
This was my first time here and they were all so nice. The front desk staff is friendly and attentive you can tell the office vibe is good due to the staff. The MA was prompt and accurate very nice, provider wasn’t a super long wait and the scheduler was a sweetheart very thorough. Check-in was quick and easy and the staff was very friendly and courteous. I had very little wait time and the nurse had a good attitude and very thorough in reviewing my chart and updating medication. Dr.Iyer was very professional and easy to talk with. He clearly explained everything in detail and took the time to listen to my concerns. I did not feel rushed and herded out like cattle as some other doctors and medical facilities have done. I was extremely satisfied with my recent visit.
