From the moment you walk into their office, from the amazing & pleasant front desk staff, to the wonderful nursing staff to the privilege of being a patient of Ms Shevron, PA &/or Physician, you’ll find a calmness throughout. It’s quite easy speaking to everyone knowing that they truly listen to the patient. I am so grateful to have found them!
My first visit Capital Digestive Care GI specialist was nothing short of excellent care. Doctor Thigpen was not only professional, and attentive she was genuinely concerned about my overall health. She took the time to explain, in detail, the test she wanted to do and why. I highly recommend this team of specialist to anyone needing a GI specialist.
Great staff, easy to set up the pre-paperwork & have klara which is utilized sending messages about your medical stuff & set up appointments & stuff. My Doctor was great & very helpful, was my first appointment so hopefully we can get my stomach issues under control within a few visits. But all in all a great place to go if you’re having issues of all types with your stomach/digestive tract.
In 2023, I requested to see another provider within the practice, which was denied after having an anaphylaxis response during an infusion of a new biologic medication I was prescribed. I later learned that my reaction was known for that drug, but the NP only reached out to me following this to set up my next appt for my ongoing treatment with the meds.
