This appointment was refreshing. After turning 65, my primary insurance became Medicare. My care through military clinics was personal and pleasant and here in Suffolk, VA, that has not been my experience so far. This staff were excellent from the check in to the lab. They were attentive and engaging. I was so relaxed, that this was the first time in years that my blood pressure did not elevate. I hope this kind of practice will continue among your staff. Thank you!
From the moment you walk into their office, from the amazing & pleasant front desk staff, to the wonderful nursing staff to the privilege of being a patient of Ms Shevron, PA &/or Physician, you’ll find a calmness throughout. It’s quite easy speaking to everyone knowing that they truly listen to the patient. I am so grateful to have found them!
Dr. Phillipou was informative and attentive. She listened to my concerns with interest and offered helpful information. The team also addressed my concerns about being overwhelmed by all the appointments that had been scheduled on my behalf and clarified dates and reasons therefor, even adjusting one appointment scheduled, adding a procedure to include one that my primary had recommended but hadn't been included. Couldn't have been happier with my visit!
My first visit Capital Digestive Care GI specialist was nothing short of excellent care. Doctor Thigpen was not only professional, and attentive she was genuinely concerned about my overall health. She took the time to explain, in detail, the test she wanted to do and why. I highly recommend this team of specialist to anyone needing a GI specialist.
Great staff, easy to set up the pre-paperwork & have klara which is utilized sending messages about your medical stuff & set up appointments & stuff. My Doctor was great & very helpful, was my first appointment so hopefully we can get my stomach issues under control within a few visits. But all in all a great place to go if you’re having issues of all types with your stomach/digestive tract.
