My very first appointment with Capital Digestive, my first appt was Dec 30th. I asked to be on the cancel list, then contacted for Dec 5th. I was told my appt was at 2:30, I arrived at 2:15, then told the appointment was at 2pm. The staff member at the front desk, went to the back, and not sure what was done but they saw me anyway. Thank you , the doctor was very patient with me , he took the time to truly listen to my concerns and ask a lot questions. He was very knowledgeable. From the time I walked into the office to the time I left. I had a great experience when I arrive for my appointment within less than 10 minutes. I was called to the back. They have always been good to go except this last time. This visit was good like usual except the woman that took me to the triage. Very gruff and no bed side manner. It’s was 7:45 in the morning. I get just starting the work day but, if this was my first visit I’d look somewhere else. The rest of the staff was pleasant as usual.
My last GASTRO Doctor moved back to the Boston area where he did his Residency. I decedent to see Doctor Marc C. Hines and I hit the jackpot. Dr. Hines is very nice and takes his time to listen. I no longer need any procedures but I had one area that I was very concerned about. He understands my concerns. He told me to send any prescription requests and he will take care of them. He even walked me out to the waiting room. I've been a patient of Capital Digestive Care for at least 20 years.
My first visit in July was fine. The doctor recommended labs and a Gastric Emptying Study. I got a letter with my diagnosis and had a follow scheduled for November. The November appointment was terrible. The receptionists and schedulers were very nice but the nurses and doctors I had were terrible. I understand they are very busy but the nurses hurrying and shuffling me about from this place to the next was very off putting. I felt like a sheep being herded.
