It’s hard to find the words to fully express my experience at this practice. To start, Megan (First Colonial Office) was absolutely amazing. Her bedside manner is truly out of this world. From the moment she walked into the room until the end of my appointment—and even walking me all the way to checkout (who does that anymore? Dr. Ayuk is outstanding. I left the appointment confident that I was in good hands. He took time to gather data, give me his thoughts and then employ his plan. I love this place. I can honestly say that each department is great. The ladies at the front are always nice and get us in quickly. The nurses are always nice. My doctor Dr. Kaufman is the best GI doctor I have ever had...and one of my overall favorite doctors. The ladies that take my blood are so kind and personable - and can always get my blood without busting up my arm or hand! Even the schedule ladies are amazing. I like this practice and would highly recommend.
I visited with Dr. Jan Jansen to cover issues that had me hospitalized for nine days. There were several issues however he chose to address just one. I guess at this time that’s OK. However, the other issues remain and still need to be addressed as I cannot get well and tell them. Dr. Jansen is very personable and I do like him a lot. However, I’m finding that he hyper focuses on one issue and I’m not sure if that one issue will correct all the other matters. Dr. Arluk is great! Very helpful from both a medical perspective and from an administrative perspective, as I have had to deal with Federal Agency requirements, as well as, with employer disability paperwork. Medically, I trust his expertise and his approach to treatment, balancing a conservative treatment plan with the effectiveness required to address my condition. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family.
