The communication is literally terrible here. All the staff are unfriendly. It took about three days for a doctor to contact me and I had to go in person and seek them out. I originally made a review and apparently, they get notified with every bad review. The nursing director really tried to listened to me, so I deleted the review. He and my mom's doctor assured me that they would be at my mom's family meeting. Conveniently he was "sick" and the doctor wasn't there. This review is for parents and guardians of individuals transitioning from pediatric to adult care. If you're concerned about adult rehab options, CareOne Brookline is an excellent choice for you and your family. I feel compelled to revise my review. Care One has top notch physical and occupational therapists, and I am quite happy with this group. There is,however, a systemic problem with a large portion of the staff, and when asked by one of the administrators recently about this, I was quite frank with her, saying that a large portion of the staff is short on smiles, but possessing an abundance of attitude. . . I would hold off. If you can find a better center definitely do such. From lack of communication to not knowing who handles what. I would hold off on having family come to this center. My father was sent to the hospital. I accidentally found out because I receive emails regarding his results. Had I not I would not have known until he called us. The staff at care one are caring and invested in their work! The nurses abd CNAs have been living abd communicative Kara, the recreation director, has been wonderful with my mom, always visiting her and setting up FaceTime visits with my family, and taking her and other residents outside. She takes the time to get to know a lot about the residents personal histories.
