My mother was admitted yesterday and many mistakes have been made. She is only able to eat puréed food and thickened liquids but the kitchen and the staff keep bringing her food that is unsafe for her to eat. Her medication arrived more than two hours late because of a nurse who was clearly struggling to learn her job. My efforts to address these issues with supervisors have been unsuccessful.

Do not under any circumstance put a loved one in Care One in Randolph. It’s by far a horrible experience dealing with this facility. It has a CMS rating of a 1 and for very good reasons. The communication is horrible. Anytime you need to speak with someone, they’re always in a meeting. I’ve been there in person asking to speak with someone and they’ll tell you they’re in a meeting and I tell them I wait. Well, they’ll let you just sit there and wait. My mom was here for six weeks for rehab after knee surgery. Hardly any improvements. Sent home with a uti because they were not changing or attending to her in a timely manner even at request. The food was worst than anywhere she has ever been for care. Medicine was not given when it should have been. And days were skipped as they did not orde necessary medication in time. I don’t even want to give this place a star. Horrible treatment towards their patients, and no communication between anyone there. My mother in law was there for 3 days and would rather go back home after her eye removal surgery than back to this place recover at this place due to lack of care. They did not check on her. Sent her to the hospital without meds. they did not fill her oxygen tank before sending her to the hospital. Absolutely a horrible facility. My mother was placed in this facility for rehab and physical therapy. They were not giving her the meds she needed, waiting for hours for an employee to help her clean up. The staff is a joke absolutely no bedside manner Don't show up for meetings with the family about residents care and pending discharge, also talk in circles and have no idea on what they are saying.
