Just had our annual garage door service. The Technician was professional and thorough. We've had CGD handle our garage door issues for years and been satisfied.
Very impressed with a job well done. He arrived on time and was very polite.
Warning, do not use this company! They lie on their website saying theyre the local garage door experts and they are a national company. They scheduled a time to come over to my house and then told me that they didnt service my area after I waited a half a day for them to show up. They were very unapologetic and seemed to not care at all. All they are is a lead generator service. They will take in your information. This company misrepresents itself. We called a local garage door repair company that had installed our opener a few years ago to resolve an issue that arose. Someone answered the phone and then scheduled a technician for us. He came and repaired the springs and cables, beginning the work without quoting us a price. It took about an hour. My garage door does not open properly . Its 40 years old so I decided to purchase a new garage door. My mom had used ******** Garage Door at her house and recommended them. A sales person came to the house. I wanted a factory painted door which was offered in the brochure. He said that they couldnt do that but could purchase a white door and they would paint it the custom color. I went ahead with the purchase. Work done on double door Springs replaced .. found out 2 years later springs put in were not correct for weight of door I was charged $792.88 Was told I had an older garage motor, ultimately if I hadnt been informed by new company the motor would have failed doors should have had 165 to *************************************** weight for 135 lb door Called Carmichael Garage Door and they didnt help me at all . Supervisor said I had a 3 year warranty and they would have fixed it .. however the motor most likely would have fail... read more
