On the business side, the staff at Carolina Pain Physicians have always been very pleasant and helpful every time I have needed to contact them. Especially, Miranda in medical records. I'm not sure why there's a3•3 rating. From the receptionist's to the nurses and the doctor, I felt well taken care of. If the treatment I received doesn't work, I feel confident that they will get me through this. Thank you all.
8/23/24 I was a patient of Dr. Jonathan Gardner at the Pain Institute of Charleston in West Ashley in January 2024. During that time, I followed the required process: an initial appointment, an epidural, and a post-epidural appointment. I made sure to attend the post-epidural appointment, despite feeling great, in case I needed to see Dr. Gardner again in the future. Unfortunately, in July, my back issues returned. had issues with dr. owen’s…,.. was very judgmental and didn’t believe me about a few things…. when i sent him proof from every single doctor and surgery i had recently, he refused to see me, had the PA talk to me instead who was new, and completely took me off of my medication and instead tried replacing it with a medication that is mainly used for OUD, yeah no thanks. i truly thought after expressing my concerns to the office manager, i would be treated differently, but i feel lied to and discriminated against. pain managem... read more
I went to get an back injection today and the experience was horrible. I first came on the young lady on the front was exceptional, after that I felt like I was jut sheep I'm the line. I gotta called to the back and MA at the desk was rude. No good morning no manners. As soon as another patient and the Dr. arrived the demeanor changed. This made me feel under valued.
