My granddaughter has been in three different "elite preschools" in the past four years. We finally found Carpe Diem in Cedar Park and she finished up the end of her Pre-K year there and then attended their summer camp. My only complaint is that I wish we had found this school sooner! They have been so welcoming and inclusive and guided her in the correct manner, with love and respect. We have seen huge personal growth in her short time being there. After touring over 20 preschools and daycares in the area, I walked into Carpe Diem and immediately felt the difference. Even though I still paid deposits at other places--just in case--I knew deep down this was where my son belonged. We had been paying so much at Creme De La Creme, but my son was miserable there. Our family has been at Carpe Diem for 2.5 years - while in the past there have been some staffing change issues mid-year, they ultimately found the correct teacher and our eldest had a wonderful year. We appreciate the love the teachers have for our children and really like the fact that there's an Education Curriculum teacher onsite as well. My son is going to carpe Diem for almost 8 months now. He loves going to school and he likes all his teachers. Its more of an activity based school and everyone in the school is encouraging and fun!!!
I have twin 5 year olds and they started Carpe Diem a few weeks after it opened in April 2018. They always loved going to school. They started out in the same class but when they were moved up to pre-k we decided to put them in different classes. All the teachers they ever had were amazing. This place used to be pretty elite when we signed up (hence why we were ok with paying the high cost). They had teachers that were not only certified to watch children but qualified to actually teach them. Since then, most if not all of the great ones have left for better roles. The turnover has risen to an insane level. The past and current regime might care about the children but they are wholefully inept. Beware of this place. After 3 bites we couldn't take it any longer. When we said we're taking her outta school bc she's not being watched here. I was told I wasn't aloud back bc of my demeanor. I was told there is no reimbursement when I take my daughter out within a 30 day notice and I fortified my deposit.

I am writing this review with a heavy heart. My son has been attending Carpe Diem since they opened their doors in April 2018 and we are part of the founding families. When my son was in the preschool class (year before pre-k) I questioned their nap schedules as my son no longer napped and the school required the children to sleep on their nap mat for 2 hours regardless of whether they slept or not.
