I had an awesome experience at this store. One of the best western store's I've ever visited. Their selection of boots, shirts, belts, and hats is huge--tons of styles, sizes, and options to choose from. It made shopping actually fun instead of overwhelming. Big shoutout to Jaydn, who was incredibly friendly and helpful the entire time. She guided me through finding the perfect felt hat, and she even helped me pick out another one for an upcoming wedding. Which I will be coming back and asking for her specifically. If Cavender's had a flagship store just for road trippers, this would be it. Tucked just off the interstate in Sevierville, down the road from Buc-ee's and Crystal Burger, this location is a hidden gem for anyone making their way to the Great Smoky Mountains, Gatlinburg, or Pigeon Forge. But for me, this wasn't just a pit stop, it was a pilgrimage. Cavender's is my mothership. They shut the lights out at 6:30 and the hours say open until 9pm - bunch of kids running the place!!

Hello, Mary. Thank you for sharing this. We understand how frustrating it is to drive 40 minutes and find the store closed, especially right before a holiday. When hours change for days like the day before Thanksgiving, we need to make sure those holiday hours are clearly posted everywhere, and your feedback is a good reminder for us to double-check that.
The store is pretty huge in itself. They do have a lot of selections in boots. But some thing they didn't have was any lacers. Literally not even one pair of lacers in the female boots. For a belt buckle was $170. That seems a little pricey. I'm guessing it's because it's a tourist town
