I cannot say enough about our amazing team at CARS. Dr. Makhijani, Casey, Lizz, and the wonderful office staff made our experience with the facility remarkable. I have been doing IVF for four years at CARS Branford and I can say that Dr. Makhijani and her team (Joan, Liz, Casey, Michelle and Rachel) are wonderful. They welcome me every cycle, they know my name and they are always ready to help when I have a question. If wondering about my results we have had three losses (none of which are CARS fault but when you are over 40 with small egg reserves and quality things will happen). I am currently in a IVF cycle and am using Dr. Makhijani. She seems very smart but my visits with her I seemed rushed and learn/ am told the basic information when this process is very complex. My first cycle with her failed and I didn't get many answers to possible reasons why. Now the issue is Casey, her nurse who is absolutely horrible. If I call and get no call back, she will proceed to say "I will call IT" when I know she got the message. We’ve had the best experience with Dr. Makhijani and her team. They’ve supported me and my husband every step of the way and go above and beyond with patience, knowledge, and kindness. Any time I’ve had a question or needed extra support, they are ready to help. They always make me feel important and valued.
