I was diagnosed with multiple herniated discs, so I had to come here for an intra spinal injection for pain relief. The scheduling was easy and there was barely any wait time. The doctor listened to and addressed my concerns. The building is clean & my procedure went smoothly. I’m extremely grateful for the care I received & I will be returning for a follow up and future injections as necessary.
This place has helped me through the worst times of my life. Not just helping to be more active and pain free, but understanding and helpful on a personal level. They have been compassionate and helpful through death close to me and without them I’m not sure where I would be. They know ME. Not just what’s wrong with me. I will always be grateful for them. The care they give is a rare thing.
I had another appt. at Central States Pain Clinic last week. Again my experience was positive. Not because my pain was completely relieved, rather, because I was heard, my concerns were taken seriously and I was offered options beyond acetaminophen. I am so grateful for the team of Caring health care providers at this office.
The staff was very unappreciative of my pain situation. I was treated as a drug seeker. My appointment was a week ago today. I was told an email would be sent to schedule a deep epidural in my lower back. A week later, no email. The strange thing is, I've been treated at the facility on two different occasions with good results. I'm taking my business elsewhere.
A Pain Clinic is rarely a 'happy place' because all of the patients waiting are in pain and rarely joyful. However, it seems that all of the staff and doctors are happy people, meaning that they like people and they like their jobs. I was pleased with how positively that affected the atmosphere. So far, all of the proceedures have been as painless as possible. The staff is professional and I don't dread going there.
