Central States Pain Clinic is a really good place to deal with your pain issues. I can ask questions and discuss my issues and receive clear and thoughtful responses. The doctor I see and other staff provide helpfull advice and are skilled with injections. I am very happy with the results I get here.
I have been seeing Dr. Szczepanek for over 3 years now. He is the BEST pain specialist I have ever been to. Very intelligent, friendly, compassionate, and has improved my quality of life greatly! His PA Christy is exactly the same!! Very thorough and is a great listener. All of the rest of the staff from the nurses to the front desk staff are all kind and helpful. Could not say better things about this clinic. I moved to Cedar Rapids from Des Moines this past summer, and have continued to make that drive to see Dr. Szczepanek and his team because of their speed and quality of service. In CR, I have to wait 3-4 months to get seen just for a consultation for service at any other clinic. At Central States? They offered me a next day appointment! I have been a patient with this clinic for many years. The staff is amazing and always take care of my needs. I would highly recommend them to anyone suffering from chronic pain. Christy Haack is awesome. She definitely is in tune with my pain, and does everything she can to make my pain bearable. Overall, this clinic is top notch, and I would definitely recommend them.
Great office. Several doctors have been phenomenal in getting my condition under control and have even advocated to my primary doctor to make sure I get the care I need.
