I always loved this currency exchange locared on 75th Stoney Island I followed them from 75th Exchange I have conducted my business with them for 15 years. They are very friendly and professional, but there's always an exception, which recently happened that left me somewhat disappointed. Sent my man to change in some change for a $5 for bus fare and they refused to do it because they said the don't count. Like he wasn't able to count it out for himself. It literally says currency exchange, but guess unless you're rich they don't wanna help. Do better.
Do Not Go Here, they are scammers!!! They are Privately owned and Not registered with the B.B.B..I went there to cash a check from CHA and at first they claim they couldn't cash the amount and if they did they can only give me half the amount until the checked cleared( Which is Illegal) they are Not a bank nor do they have any authority to that. When I refused that they claimed the check was going expire in a few days, yet the currency exchange on Jeffrey did it with no qualms at all.
Tried to cash my check immediately lightskin black girl rejected. Because. She said. It was 44 days old and she was dismissive off the top . Not sure if that's their policy that. Tried to look on the website. To make sure. If i wasnt crazy.. still doesn't make since on why and my check does have an expiration date so I'm like what's the problem.
Terrible service I just went to present my documentation to prove my identity since I had already opened an account at People Gas and the cashier was thin, she was tattooed, very rude, did not want to accept my consular registration or my ITIN number when the People Gas company told me to bring that to prove my identity I left I called People Gas again and asked if they accepted that ID, consular registration and passport, they still did not want to accept it.
