It's a nice facility and the caregivers are good. Would like to see more staff, to help the residents. The addition of hospice support has helped with the level of care for my mom.
Business response:
We're glad to hear we delivered such a great experience. If there's anything further we can do for you, we are happy to help!
My Dad is no longer at Cedarhurst. He went back home . Our experience with Cedarhurst was okay . My Dad was there 2 months and they only cleaned his room 2 times. I thought they were supposed to clean his room once a week. Also the nurse that was on call wasn't available when we needed her, she was on vacation. Otherwise, the people there, were very kind and my Dad enjoyed the meals . The building was neat and clean
So far it is going well. My moms room is spacious and clean and the caregivers I have interacted with have been great. I also have peace of mind knowing she's safe. We picked this community because of the availability, services and reputation.
Cedarhurst of Jackson has been a great community so far for my mother-in-law. Every staff member that we have encountered has been very helpful and friendly. They go out of their way to include my mother-in-law in activities and she enjoys the food. They do not get frustrated when she uses her call button in the middle of the night, several times, to get up to go to the bathroom. We made a great decision by choosing Cedarhurst. I would recommend this facility to others.
moved in with my wife last June, my wife needed assistance. we enjoyed living here. my wife passed in February and staff handled the care and assistance well with assistance provided by [company name removed] hospice.
Jackson Crossings used to be a nice place under the former management, unfortunately they all left or retired and then Jackson Crossings got bought out by Cedarhurst. The current management team is not real receptive to phone calls and emails. They can't seem to keep help and this is not due to Covid as it has been this way the entire 5 years my mother was there. Several times in my mother's last month there I had to ask someone to clean her toilet as there was feces all over it! They offer a Friends and Family discount, and... read more
The facility is beautiful and it is in a nice location, but they made a lot of promises that have not been kept. They have no activities provided like they had said there were and there are never any staff working. It has not been a good experience and I would not recommend them.

Kelly, I am the Executive Director and would welcome to opportunity to speak with you about your concerns as exceeding our resident and family expectations is our goal every time. Please contact me at the community at your earliest convenience, and I hope to speak with you soon.
The community was clean, but they did not keep up with our loved rooms. The staff members were very friendly and the food was really good. However, we do not think they assessed our loved ones correctly. They did not seem to have adequate care for those with memory care issues.
Business response:
I am the Executive Director and was sorry to read this review, which was unfortunately just published by SeniorAdvisor. While some time has passed since you wrote this, I would very much like to talk with you about your comments as the safety of our residents and the peace of mind of our families is of utmost importance to us. Please contact me at the community so we can discuss this in further detail.
This is a decent community, but there are improvements that needs to be made. For the most part they do a good job with the cleaning. The staff is good, but I do feel they are over worked and under paid. I think the management is more concerned about making a profit, rather than the care of the residents. There are activities offered for the residents. The food is decent. Overall it has been a decent experience.
