Avoid making contracts with Chicago Title. I signed a contract in May 2023 and paid a deposit for a new construction. Over the entire year, there was a severe lack of communication, with no updates on the status of our house. After numerous missed deadlines, I could no longer wait because our lease was expiring and we were at risk of becoming homeless. David Rodriguez is one of the top escrow officers I have had the pleasure of working with. Not only was he able to assist in closing an escrow in under 10 days but was always aware of what was going on with the transaction. Highly would recommend him.

I was waiting on a refund and have not received anything but a rude secretary answering the phone who said she was busy and I should call someone else. The First Lady I spoke with said she would send out the check but didn’t all I received was a letter of cancellation. She stated that the check was on the way but it’s been 2 weeks now. No one seems to know what’s going on with my refund. Avoid going through this company.
