If the US Postal Service opened a title company, they would call it Chicago Title. All the same problems you have at the post office you have here. Closed at CT many times and almost always have minor to moderate issues. Plus, since they are customer focused, they like making you feel bad or you're bothering them for requests or any changes to a file. Like you're putting them out to solve a problem or think outside the box. Other reviews that talk about lost checks, balls dropped, etc are often problems here.... read more
Had this at five stars. However, they sent closing funds to the wrong address and the check was cashed. They will not respond to me. The funds that were supposed to go to my HOA are now be billed to me, along with late fees and NSF fees. They refuse to respond via email. Just thoroughly upset! Can someone have Ashley Mucha respond to her emails?
I sold my condo in April and some of the proceeds were used to pay off some debt. One of the checks, which totaled over $4K, never arrived at its destination which was confirmed by both the creditor and Chicago Title. I was told to email a couple managers so that way there would be record of our communication...I think I received a response after about 15 emails and was told it was being addressed and I would be updated. Staff was super nice but unfortunately when i closed. I made a payment to them. Which i closed 10/22. It’s now 11/12 just to find out they accidentally paid my home warranty $8k more than they needed to! And now i have to call that company just to get that money back ! This is ridiculous how they mishandle money that is literally someone’s livelihood! Very unprofessional. They also made various mistakes when sending my lender some paperwork. Which delayed my closing as well.
Does anybody here know how to answer phone calls? I've called multiple times...I've clicked every option available on the automated list...every single option just rings about 8 times, then with no option to leave a voicemail Im redirected back to the main automated menu. Absolutely no way of talking to anyone at this company. Seems a little sketchy to me.
