Chicago Title Ocean Avenue/West Portal are professional, quick, knowledgeable, and responsive. Throughout escrow and even months after closing, Kim Diep, AVP picks up on the first ring and responds by end-of-day to all our questions and concerns (sometime repeatedly). Find anyone else. This was the worst experience with the title company I’ve ever had. My real estate agent agreed with me. Their communication was nonexistent throughout the process. And when I reached out to figure out what I was supposed to be doing and when, their responses were mystifying. As the buyer, on the morning, we are supposed to close on my purchase of the house, my agent reached out to them multiple times to find out what was going on and got no answer. My business partner arranged for us to try out this location for a "test" escrow. We were assigned the junior escrow officer, Kim Diep, at this location. It is the first time and last time we will use Kim as our escrow officer. Our experience with her was disappointing. We've worked many other escrow companies, and Kim did not even come close to the quality standards I suppose we've come to expect. Just close escrow with this branch. Never send information about closing and notify me, as a buying agent, the closing statement and the date of signing the documents to protect my client. Not ethical and not professional! Not suggest to do business with....
